The School Land Trust Program supports the goals of our school and this program helps our students attain their individual goals. Elected parents, elected teachers and the school’s principal serve on our Community Council.  The Councils in each school prepare a plan to address the school’s greatest academic need. Local school boards approve the plans and funding is then sent to each school with an approved plan before the school year begins. The council for the 2018-2019 includes the following members:

The council will be meeting in our school library @ 3:45 p.m. on the following dates:  

Oct. 24th, 2018

Jan. 30th, 2019

Mar. 21st, 2019

 

The goal for 2017-2018 was to improve reading comprehension & reading fluency, math skills and to provide collaboration time for all teachers.  We received $46,669 for the school and the funds were used to purchase the following:

  • An aide to work with students on reading skills.
  • An aide to work with students on math skills.
  • An aide to teach technology sessions.
  • Aides to teach FAME (Fine Arts Mini Experience) to allow teachers collaborative team time.
  • Purchase and repair of technology resources.
