Principal

Welcome to the 2023-24 school year. We are so excited to have students returning to school. For those of you who are new to H. Guy Child we wish to welcome you and let you know you are a part of an amazing community and school.

Blended learning, engagement, restorative practices and filling in gaps from unfinished learning, due to the pandemic, are some of the focuses for this year. We are so grateful for the help and support that families give to their children. We encourage you to have children read at least 20 minutes each night and practice math facts. Students who have this practice at home make more progress during the school year.

Please help us stay healthy at school by having sick children stay home. We welcome volunteers and visitors and strongly recommend that masks be worn especially by those who are not vaccinated. We also ask that you keep all contact information updated throughout the school year.
