Community Council Meeting Minutes October 24, 2024

H. Guy Child Elementary School Community Council Agenda

October 24th, 2024

 

Roles:

Chair: Mandee Wheeler

Vice Chair: Sara Lleverino

Secretary: Celeste Drake

Attendance: Mandee Wheeler, Sara Lleverino, Celeste Drake, Sariah Long, Delene Butler, Chance Adams 

 

Agenda Items:

  1. Welcome and Introductions -  Mandee. All council members present introduced each other.



  1. Chair/Vice Chair/Secretary Election - Mr. Adams. Delene Butler motioned to approve Mandee Wheeler as President, Sarah Lleverino as Vice Pres, and Celeste Drake as Secretary. Sariah Long seconded the motion.  All members voted to approve the president, vice president and secretary.



  1. Approve Rules of Order and Procedure - Mandee. Sara Lleverino motioned to approve the Rules of Order and Procedure. Mandee Wheeler seconded the motion. All members voted to approve the Rules of Order and Procedure.



  1. Trust Land Training - Mr. Adams. All Members present watched the training video. No questions came up with the training.

  1. Compliance checklist - Mr. Adams. All members went over the checklist.



  1. 2024-2025 Plan/Budget -  Mr. Adams. Mr. Adams reviewed the School Land Trust website with the council to show what the budget is beening used for regarding paraprofessional budgets, technology, and software.



  1. Future schedule - Mr. Adams (11/21, 1/16, 2/13, 3/6). Future schedule looks good for now. If changed are made, council members will be given adequate adavnce notice.



  1. Miscellaneous - Council Members. No other concerns were noted.

 

Sariah Long motioned to dismiss the meeting. Sarah Lleverino seconded the motion.

Next meeting will be held November 21 @3:35pm in the H. Guy Library.
