From the engineering strategy of Tile Trials, to the mind-bending puzzles of Pentominoes, and even the physics of Hula Hoops—our students gave it their all at the STEM Olympiad! 🧠💪

Our amazing Life Skills students and their incredible buddies absolutely crushed it at the Unified Iron Kid competition! Not only did they show teamwork, determination, and true Charger spirit, but they also brought home 1st AND 2nd PLACE! 🥇🥈

Our 2nd Grade Chargers had some very "leggy" visitors! The Loveland Living Planet Aquarium brought the wild right to our hallways. Our brave students got up close and personal with a Blue-tongued Skink, met a Madagascar Hissing Cockroach, and observed a Horned Toad!
We are so proud of our Chargers for showing such curiosity and bravery—not everyone is ready to pet a giant cockroach on a Wednesday morning! Way to go, 2nd grade! ⚡️💙

For the first time in over seven years, H. Guy Child Elementary was back at the Weber School District Junior STEM Fair—and our 6th graders didn't just show up, they showed out! 🚀
Our students went head-to-head with 6th, 7th, and 8th graders across the district. A huge congratulations to Nora, who took 1st Place in the Physics category! Her investigation into paper airplane designs proved that our Chargers have the skills to soar. ✈️🏆
We are so proud of all our participants for representing H Guy with excellence and curiosity. The future of science is looking bright!

Our 1st Grade Chargers lit up the school today to celebrate the 120th day of school! From neon outfits to glow-stick parties, we had a blast celebrating how much we’ve grown since August.
